Observations from my children #2

*This story is being shared with permission from my DH*

So we're going out the other night for a little family dinner. As we're driving along, Aaron decides to put in a Bob Dylan CD. After listening for a few minutes, Abby, our five-year old, proudly exclaimes:

"Hey Dad, I didn't know you could sing like that!"

I don't know which was funnier, the fact that she noticed the strageness of Bob Dylan's singing, or that she thought it sounded like Aaron!

Sorry honey, you really don't sound like him, but it was too funny not to share!

which album was it? My kids love Dylan. I've trained them. By the way, Leonard Cohen said Bob has a more sophisticated voice than Whitney Houston. Now that would be funny if Aaron sounded like Whitney.

That is hilarious. I love Bob, but with that voice not sure if it is a compliment or not! Reminds me of when my son, who was 4 or 5 at the time, asked me when I was going to sing on American Idol because a contestant had just finished singing a song that I sing all the time around the house!

Have your children stopped doing cute and funny things that need to be shared with the rest of us?
