Tonight I had the funniest insight to what kids really think of parents. It went something like this:
Ava: "Mommy!"
Me: ignoring
Ava: "MOMMY!!!!"
Me: "What?"
Ava: "COME HERE A SECOND!!"
Me: noticing there's no real urgent sound to her call, "I'm busy!"
Ava: "NO YOU NOT, YOU MOMMY!!"
Can I change my name to "Busy?"
Love that funny little girl!
